Jamar Johnson CBL Commissioner Jamar is
the Creator of the Community Basketball Leagues and is responsible for all day
to day operations. Jamar brings twelve years of experience in the sports,
sales, and human resources fields. Jamar is a former high school, college, and
professional basketball player and coach. Jamar created the CBL to help make a
positive impact with the players, with the communities, and with the businesses
that support the CBL.
Eric Curry Director, League Operations Eric is the
director of the CBL’s player training camp, draft, league game operations, and
player trades. Eric comes to the team with a background in logistics and
management. Eric has also been a boys and girls youth basketball coach for
Tolson (Elkhart) and the Martin Luther King (South Bend) Youth Centers
for the past four years.
Rob Isabell Director, Promotions/Events Rob is the
director of the CBL’s promotional events, radio and television productions, and
internet-based social networking activities. Rob comes to the team with a
background and certifications in sound engineering and business management. Rob
has also worked as a TV camera operator and as a radio on-air host and sales
Representative. Terry Wood Account Executive
Terry is the Account Executive for our Elkhart sponsors and advertisers. Terry is a life long resident of the Michiana area. He is a Graduate of
Mishawaka High School and Bethel College with a degree in Organizational
Management. He has held several jobs in sales and customer service in many
different industries. Terry is married and has a son age 4 and two foster
children, a daughter age 14 months and son age 7 months. Terry spends his free
time playing drums in the praise team at church and playing softball in the
summer.
Gary Robinson Account Executive Gary is the Account Executive for our Goshen, Nappanee,
Middlebury, and Wakarusa sponsors and advertisers. New to the sales field, but he
comes to the CBL with a hunger and enthusiasm to succeed. Gary has been a lifelong citizen of the community,
and now resides in Wakarusa with his wife and 3 children. Gary is a 1987 graduate of Northwood high
school. Gary is
very involved in different ministries in his church and also is a local sports
scout for a recruiting service.
Larry Johnson Account Executive Larry is
the Account Executive for our South
Bend sponsors and advertisers. Larry is also known as “Jamar’s
Dad” and the anchor of the CBL sales team, brings over 25 years of sales,
marketing and financial services experience. Larry is a graduate of the Elkhart
Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy and is a U.S. Army veteran. Larry looks
forward to helping make the CBL the best experience for the players, the
community, and our business supporters.
